It is time to get out and celebrate summer, Penticton style. With so many summer events to choose from, one blog was just not enough to cover what Penticton has to offer. As the premier agent for all your Penticton real estate needs, here is the second installment of the most popular summer events and festivals going on in the city.
If you are looking for a summer party, then be sure to circle your calendar for PeachFest. It was originally in celebration of the peach harvest in Penticton. 2019 will be the 72nd year that the city hosts this free family festival. This popular event begins the Wednesday after the civic holiday in August and runs for 5 consecutive days at Okanagan Lake Park. Some of the highlights of PeachFest include:
- The annual downtown Peach Bin races.
- Sandcastle competition at Skaha Lake.
- The Grand Parade.
- The crowning of Miss Penticton.
- Great, local live music entertainment with headliner Ben Walters.
Be sure to take in all the highlights at the most popular summer festival in the Okanagan.
Ultra 520K Canada

The 37th annual Penticton Triathlon is a summer tradition. The race is available to anyone who wishes to register and the triathlon offers 3 different choices.

- The aqua/bike event that does not include the run.
- The Sprint Distance event for younger athletes or those who prefer shorter distances.
Be sure to register early and be a part of this Penticton tradition.
